Tsering Lamho, roasting barley at her home in Kaza, Spiti to prepare ‘Tsampa’ for the winters. It is prepared by grinding roasted Barley. The people of Spiti use it for their self consumption and rarely sell it in the market.

This organic food is a favourite of the people of Spiti who use it extensively to preparing various food items.
